21.        CCTV

CCTV cameras are located throughout our premises including within the Cattery.


How we use your data 

Your information is being collected and used to:

•    Enhance the safety of our guests and staff.
•    Assist with the apprehension and prosecution of offenders. 
•    Prevent, investigate and detect crime.
•    Process Subject Access Requests. 

 

How we store your data 

All images will be retained for a maximum of 28 days. After this period the images are permanently deleted, unless they are required for an ongoing incident/investigation which has been identified (for example, if a crime has been observed and recorded or if the images have been retained while another subject access request is being processed). In such cases images will be retained for a long as necessary (for example, until the conclusion of any criminal proceedings arising from the incident)


Why we process your data

We operate CCTV throughout our premise and within the Cattery. The live imagery and footage we record is used for the prevention and detection of crime and to protect our guests and staff.

 

Surveillance

When and why we share your information 

We will only share CCTV footage where we are legally obliged to do so, or where we are allowed to do so under certain exemptions - for example, for the prevention or detection of crime.

This may involve making a copy of the storage media or a screen print, which may be used as evidence in any subsequent civil/criminal court proceedings. In cases of suspected criminal activity the storage media will normally be passed to the police for investigation and possible prosecution. The police and other law enforcement agencies may, on showing good cause, request copies of storage media or access to monitoring screens. In general such requests will be complied with.

23.      Review of this privacy policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
