All cats must be fully vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Feline Influenza, proof of this to be provided to us on a veterinary signed vaccination card that clearly shows pets name ,vaccinations & dates. All cats will have a primary vaccination course consisting of two injections given 3-4 weeks apart and then an annual booster. The vaccination cards must show proof of all these vaccinations and the last vaccine must have been applied within the last 12 months. Please be aware that a new or re-started vaccination course can take approximately 3 weeks to complete. The initial two vaccinations course must be fully completed at least 14 days prior to the first boarding day with us.
No cat can be accepted without visibility of a valid vaccination history.
With your blessing we can contact your vets to validate vaccination history where the card has been misplaced. Vaccinations are for the protection and well being of your pet which we treat very seriously.
All cats must be treated for worms and fleas with Veterinary strength products such as Stronghold, Advocate, Milbemax or Drontal. Where any fleas are spotted we may provide treatment and will ask you to settle the cost of that treatment on collection.
We regret no un-neutered male cats or cats that have / had Cat Flu can be accepted into our Cattery as determined by Medway Council regulations.
All rabbits must be vaccinated against Myxomatosis , Viral Haemorrhagic Disease / RHD2, proof of this to be provided on a veterinary signed vaccination card that clearly shows pets name ,vaccinations & dates.
All rabbits must be treated with a veterinary strength Flea & Mite & Fly strike product, proof of purchase will be required before the booking is confirmed.
Little Paws N Claws will not be held responsible for any illnesses such as (but not limited to) Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic Disease, Fly strike, Mites or any other diseases.
Whilst we may carry out frequent checks on your pets and ensure that all rabbits are kept clean as possible, we will not be held liable in the unfortunate event that your rabbit falls ill due to Fly strike.
Only pets from the same home may share the same pen or run.
You understand the fee payable and the day rate applicable to your pets stay by referencing the appropriate page (Cat or Small Animal) on our website. Our fees are charged at a daily rate and include the days of arrival and departure (check in & check out days) unless otherwise agreed. Where pets are collected at a later date than agreed late fees will be charged for a full days boarding unless otherwise agreed. There is a minimum stay period of 3 days per booking unless otherwise agreed.
As from 16th March 2020 deposits required to secure a booking will be 50% of the total boarding cost.
Any deposit paid is non refundable unless otherwise agreed and only where we can refill cancelled bookings.
Changes to your booking should be notified to us asap & at least 30 days prior to the first boarding day so that we can try to refill the space. Cancellations advised less than 30 days prior to boarding, the remaining balance of the total boarding fee will be requested, unless we can refill the space as detailed. We can provide a written receipt for paid deposits and any final payment received for use with your own associated Travel or Pet Insurance claims.
The final 50% (or remaining balance) of the total boarding cost must be paid 30 days before the first boarding day, otherwise your booking will be cancelled, and your deposit may not be returned (unless we can refill the space as detailed above).
Owners wishing to collect pets earlier than dates booked may not be entitled to any pro-rata refund unless otherwise agreed.
Pets should arrive in appropriate carriers which we will store until checking out. Collars should be removed before boarding. You are encouraged to bring some of their own blankets, toys and scratching posts etc to help settle them in during their stay.
All previous and current medical conditions must be stated prior to booking. We are happy to discuss and administer prescribed medication during your pets stay if required, there may be a small fee as a result of the additional care and attention required. You must provide the medication in the containers issued by the vet with the pets name and vets dosage instructions clearly legible. All medication must be in date.
Your pets Veterinary care details will be taken at booking ,we will have access to our local Wigmore vet should it be required. If your pet should appear unwell whilst in our care, we will first try to contact your own vet. Should this not be possible for any reason or & they advise immediate treatment we will enlist the services of our own Veterinary practice (Wigmore Vets, or 'Vets Now' outside of normal hours). Any Veterinary bills must be settled on pet collection.
Every care and attention will be given to your pets in our care as if they were our own, we still highly recommend that you maintain your own pet insurance. We accept no liability in the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill or passes away whilst boarding with us. We accept no liability should your pet scratch or gnaw at any wooden caging or shelving and then splinter itself, We accept no liability should your pet jump down from a raised area and injure itself. All pets are left entirely at their owner’s risk.

Payment of a deposit, and or delivery of pets into our care signifies your full understanding and agreement to all these terms and conditions. Pets are accepted into our care on the understanding that they are in good health and that any prior health problems have been communicated with us before admittance. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to our boarding facility for any pet that appears to be unwell, potentially suffering from illness or infectious disease where the condition has not been previously communicated to us, or where we deem it not appropriate for the pets general overall well-being. Our decision is final.
